Opportunity: Innis Maggiore was in need of in-house content creation and management, public relations, community outreach, digital and social media marketing.
Strategy: Increase brand awareness while maintaining a focus on the company’s position (America’s #1 Positioning Ad Agency) and generate new business leads through content, advertising and PR across various digital mediums.
Results: Prior to joining the agency they experienced a “down” year in 2017. Since joining, profits are Y-O-Y by more than 20% and the digital marketing and social media efforts we’ve conducted have increased revenue in those specific mediums by over 400%. We’ve also seen a dramatic increase in the number of inbound leads at approximately 20 a quarter. In 2018 the company recorded one its best years in company history, and through Q3 of 2019 revenue is up Y-O-Y again.

My Role: I manage the agency social media accounts (organic posting and business manager advertising/marketing via Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube); write and distribute press releases, newsletters, emails, social posts, and the occasional direct mailer; update and manage web content; occasionally ghostwrite content for the CEO’s biweekly column; film, photo, and video/audio edit content when applicable.

Biweekly Column (Ghostwriter)

I’ve written some columns/articles on behalf of the CEO which have been featured in the local newspaper, our website, our email newsletters, and social media. One of which you can read here. The column usually focuses in on some aspect of advertising, branding, or business. A snippet from the previously linked article reads:

Bed Bath & Beyond, IBM, Goldman Sachs, Taco Bell, GoPro and Twitter all have at least two things in common. Each understands the need to win online, and each has an award-winning content marketing strategy.

Content marketing has moved to the front of the pack and has become a core marketing tactic designed to generate leads, creating an inbound sales machine.


This is just a small portion of the work I do to promote the Innis Maggiore brand and even smaller insight into my full role as Digital Marketing Coordinator at the agency. All of the work here has been written, managed, and created by me. The agency’s PR Director, Jim Cyphert, and CEO, Dick Maggiore, look over everything we distribute on behalf of the agency.
