Insight: The United States retail coffee industry did $9.37 B in sales in 2018.
Opportunity:
Start a fresh emerging brand capitalizing on the most popular breakfast and water cooler beverage.
Strategy:
Coffee that powers your daily grind, it’s 5 a.m. somewhere.
Results:
Briefly established a presence then realized I wasn’t prepared to run this business full-time and couldn’t dedicate the time needed. Sold for crisp, cold-hard cash. Learned a bunch too.

Rise ‘N Grinds was a drop shipping coffee business that conducts all of its business online.
I designed the web site and all of the digital content, as well as the strategy and execution of advertising using digital marketing tactics such as Google Ads, Social Media Marketing, SEO, and organic social media management.
In order to boost brand recognition and overall awareness I designed and developed a line of merchandise focusing on the brand’s identity.

In order to increase the number of touch points with our target audience we felt it was best to develop an overarching social media approach targeting 4 (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest) of the big 6 platforms (LinkedIn and YouTube not withstanding).

In order to make a substantial gain in traffic we focused on paid search and shopping ads across the search engine.

Branded Merchandise

All aspects of marketing, advertising, design, development, copywriting, graphics, SEO, social media marketing and management, strategy, branding, and campaign execution were completed by Scott Mahoney, who oversees all company creative direction, marketing propositions, and the day to day aspects of RiseNGrinds LLC.
