My Role

My primary function at Cuyahoga County is management of our social media channels. My secondary role is providing copy and brand strategy. A breakdown of my workflow would look something like 70% Social Media Management, 10% Copywriting, 10% Analytics, and 10% Brand Strategy.

Increase in Followers by Platform:

Twitter: +1999 (31% increase, 19.1K total followers)
Facebook: +1495 (45% increase, 10.1K total followers)
Instagram: +686 (24% increase, 3.5K total followers)
Social Referral Traffic to Site: +21486 (500% increase, 25112 total unique social referrals)

Due to limitations in tracking we are unable to record a standardized setup of analytics beyond what the base Twitter/Facebook/Instagram insights provide us.

Copywriting

My writing for Cuyahoga County ranges from print materials to press releases to video scripts and social media copy. Videos like the one featured are a team effort between the Communications team that I am a part of and the Production team. Detailed overviews like the one featured (button) are a collaborative effort between members of the Communications team where each member focuses their efforts on pieces related to the departments or content they oversee before the entire document is individually reviewed by each team member.
